Evaluation of business accounting
departments
Goal: Evaluation of the operation of
the resources of the accounting department (human and not)
and the utility and the effectiveness of its procedures.
Demanding:
- Total trial balance of all the degrees
- Statements of information of the administration
- Analysis of work per person in the accounting department
- Interview with the people of the accounting department
- Recording of problems and complaints
- Interview with internal users of information taken by
the accounting department (sales team - production team
etc.) for the adequacy or not of the provided information
To be delivered: Statement of evaluation
of the operational organizing of the accounting department
and the quality of its provided information to the internal
users. Recording of the 'gap' in what the accounting department
is providing and in what it could be able to provide.
